Accra Mall (Phase 1A & 1B)
Phase 2 is in the planning phase where the GLA of the mall will be increased to 42 023m² initiated by Phase 1A and 1B having commenced construction in July 2015.
The 20 300m² Accra Mall, Ghana’s first A-grade shopping Centre, was completed in 2007. This well performing Mall is currently fully let and anchored by Shoprite and Game. Phase 2 is in the planning phase where the GLA of the mall will be increased to 42 023m² initiated by Phase 1A and 1B having commenced construction in July 2015.
Construction work on Phases 1A and 1B at Accra Mall commenced this month, and Project Managers GHC Africa have implemented the OnSiteIMS System as the information management & collaboration platform on the project.
The Accra Mall is fulfilling a regional function and is strategically situated in close proximity of established residential and business areas in Accra. The Accra Mall offers high accessibility at the intersection of major roads and is located on the main Trans West African route linking Ghana with Togo and the Ivory Coast. The University of Ghana as well as Accra’s main hotel district and airport are within a kilometre from the Mall.
The Accra Mall is a landmark attraction in the capital city and viewed as a symbol of growth, modernisation and progress. AttAfrica aims to add more international fashion brands and also include tenants from Southern Africa not currently represented in the mall. Current tenants include Mr Price, Truworths, Woodin, Vlisco, Puma, Rhapsody’s, TM Lewin and Foods Inn as well as Ghanaian retailers such as Body Basics, Dalex Finance, Enda, Exotic Trendz, Eye Emporium, Felipaul, Gipsey Interiors, Kiki Clothing, Nallem Clothing and Say Cheers.
Atterbury Asset Managers are placing increased focus on service contractors to provide service of an international standard to both the tenants and customers of the mall.
